Crest of the hill is located in a traditional village Pesaban, Nongan Village, District Rendang, Bali. The name "Bukit Jambul" is located 8 km from Klungkung regency, 51 km from Denpasar or 15 miles from Pura Besakih. This place is located on the border between Klungkung and Karangasem district, then as informed earlier, if we want to visit or tour to Besakih through Klungkung regency, we will automatically pass through Bukit jambullittle History was named Bukit jambul ( crest of the hill )
Bukit jambul name was first given during the Dutch invasion in Indonesia by a tourist who saw a high hill standing on the south main road connecting Klungkung regency and Besakih. At the top of the hill there is a temple called Pura Pucak Sari surrounded by large trees. Meanwhile, in the temple complex there is a captivating panorama of rice fields. This makes the trees look like a crest.
